The term “Supergroup” gets thrown around a lot. There are more collaborations now in music than I can ever remember. One band that has evolved into a Supergroup is Burning Rain!
Doug Aldrich, Keith St. John, Brad Lang and Blas Elias, come from a long family tree that includes the likes of, Whitesnake, Dio, Dead Daisies, Montrose, Kingdom Come, Y&T and Slaughter to name a few… I’ve seen them all separately and now I’ve seen them together and this band is fire!
Killer at every corner.. Keith can sing anything. Doug is a blues rock guitar gawd Brad offers the slinkiest of down & dirty bass grooves and Blas is a bionic windmill behind the kit. Together they create an amazing modern rock sound steeped in a juicy 70’s vibe.
They rocked the boat and were heavy on a lot of people’s “must see” lists.
