WillToRock was On Scene and Heard…
Enuff Z’Nuff recently made a stop at the legendary Whisky a Go Go to record an upcoming Live Album. Enuff Z’Nuff are a band I’ve always thought deserved a little more respect in the rock circles. They have a ton of amazing songs and always put on such an entertaining show. The always colorful Chip Z’Nuff has the personality of a giant and on stage his lust and appreciation for “trim” is unmatched. That alone is a reason to get to a show.
If you’ve been following the band, the current lineup consists of Chip Z’Nuff on Vocals & Bass, Tory Stoffregen on Guitar, newest member, Jason Camino on Guitar and the always effervescent Dan Hill on Drums.
The set included all the E Z’N hits you’d expect including “Kiss The Clown“, “Baby Loves You“, the sexy “In The Groove“, the song that put them on the map, “Fly High Michelle” and “New Thing“.
It was also heavy on a selection from their recent Beatles cover album, “HardRock Night“. They kicked off the show with “Magical Mystery Tour” and also thew in “Eleanor Rigby” and from Wings, “Jet” and a killer version of “Live And Let Die“.
As a special surprise the end of the set saw Faster Pussycat’s Sam “Bam” Koltun take up the guitar while FP drummer, Chad Stewart joined on backing vocals. Sam’s other bandmate and Budderside vocalist, Patrick Stone also jumped on stage to help out with some backing vocals.
If you haven’t seen this band, you’re missing out. If you have, you know what you’re gonna get and you cant wait to get it.
