Merriweather Post Pavillion – Columbia, MD
Friday/Saturday/Sunday/ – May 2nd/3rd/4th, 2025

All Pre-Coverage: Jody Wilk
Set times for the highly anticipated annual M3 Rock Festival have been released. For those of you that have never been to the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland for this rock reunion which is held the first weekend of May annually, you are in for a special occasion.
Not only is it a celebration of some of our favorite 80’s rock and metal bands, but it has become a yearly reunion of rock friendships made year after year.
The show kicks off Friday night with Snake Oil and Sebastian Bach bringing us back, to relive our youth for another year. This year, the headliners are David Lee Roth, who hasn’t performed live in 5 years and has chosen M3 to get back to the stage. Our local Live Nation representative announced on the radio that he is working on putting together a tour. Stephen Pearcy and Warren DeMartini will be hitting the stage Sunday night for their second show together in seven years. They played The Mohegan Sun Casino a few weeks ago and sounded fantastic according to many fans. Check their social media pages for info on more dates this summer.

Also playing on Saturday are metal giants Accept, whose stage show will blow you away, Winger, Slaughter, Stephen Adler, Child’s Play, Red Voodoo and Soundcheck Rock.

Sunday’s lineup also includes Ace Frehley, Warrant, Great White, Lita Ford, Vixen, Spread Eagle, and again, Soundcheck Rock.

If you have VIP seats you will have the opportunity to have a meet and greet with many of the bands throughout the weekend. There will also be many great rock and roll vendors including Strung, who makes jewelry from stage played guitar strings from some of your favorite artists and inspired by your favorite songs. Get to the merch stand early each day to get your favorite bands merch as well as event t-shirts.

Also, M3 will be hosting their official pre-party on Thursday May 1, at The Collective Encore. The night will feature an acoustic set by Steve Brown of Trixter and Pete Evick of The Bret Michaels band.
Tickets can be bought at thecollectiveencore.com.
M3 is the best way to kick off your festival season, and this year’s lineup is one that will certainly kick your ass.
