The Metal Hall of Fame kicked off their 2020 Hall of Fame Gala at the Marriott Delta on Jan 15th, inducting an extensive list of legends into the only Hall of Fame that really Matters. As always, the evening kicked off with a trip down the Red Carpet

This year’s inductees included: Steve Vai, Geoff Tate, Don Dokken, Joe Satriani, Graham Bonnet, Stephen Pearcy, Chris Poland, Prong, Metal Church and Promoter Jack Orbin’s Stone City Attractions. The Event was hosted by Eddie Trunk and Co-Host Jes Fama.
Performances
The Showcase featured performaces by Don Dokken, Prong, Heaven Below, and The All Star Tribute Band, and a moving tribute to Rush Drummer Neil Peart presented by Modern Drummer editor Billy Amendola. The highlight of the evening came with the unannounced Jam fronted by Geoff Tate, and featuring Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, and Chris Poland shredding along with Bjorn Englen and HOF founder Pat Gesualdo to Black Sabbath’s “Paranoid”
The Metal Hall of Fame is dedicated to enshrining forever, the Iconic Bands, Industry Executives, and Musicians who are responsible for making Rock and Metal music what it is today. Their contribution to the genre is invaluable, and they keep inspiring Rock and Metal fans throughout the world, from generation to generation.
The Metal Hall of Fame is a part of the non-profit organization D.A.D. (Drums and Disabilities) which helps children and adults fight disabilities on a Global basis.
