…A rare double bill of two of Hollywood, CA Heavy Weights took place at The Bourbon Room last Wednesday.
In an impromptu show, announced only a week earlier, Neon Coven and Budderside played to a packed house. The evening also included the ongoing entertainment from the Rock N Pole Burlesque dancers interspersed throughout the evening.
Budderside who are Patrick Stone (Vocals), Sam “BAM” Koltun, (Guitar), Logan Nikolic (Guitar), Eliot Lorango (Bass) and Jeff Dewbray (drums) kicked off the evening with a raucous, heavy set that had music industry vet, Matt Pinfield Join them for an amped up version of Motorhead’s “Ace Of Spades“.
Neon Coven, who are Anthony Montemarano (Vocals), Jacob Bunton (Guitar, Keyboards), Darren Howard (Bass, Keyboards) and Kyle Cunningham (Drums), came together for a rare show and shared their brand of Dark Wave, Techno, Dance, Rock Music.
The now 4 piece jammed through a quick, slick set that covered selections from their 2 EP’s (“Risen” and “The Haunting“) as well as their last (GO GET THIS) album, “Future Postponed“.
