After a 4 year Hiatus, The Ride for Ronnie returned and morphed into the Inaugural “Rock For Ronnie” concert in the park.
Derailed by a worldwide pandemic, the event triumphantly returned with a concert that included performances from Jason Charles Miller, Atomic Punks, Steamroller, Dio Disciples and a very special, all-star jam that culminated in a finale that included 5 Ex-Whitesnake members. Doug Aldrich, Michael Devin, Rudy Sarzo, Brian Tichy and Adrian Vandenberg.
The annual event was created by the late Ronnie James Dio’s Wife, Wendy and was hosted (as always) by Ronnie’s friend, and DJ, Eddie Trunk.
The Rock For Ronnie charity series, which also includes the annual Bowl for Ronnie, presented a range of musical acts throughout the day as well as a number of auctions to assist in raising money to support the Stand Up And Shout Dio Cancer Fund.
This years show was a sold out event and ended up raising over $50,000!
Jason Charles Miller

The Atomic Punks
(Early Tribute to Van Halen)
A new lineup of the Atomic Punks kicked the party into a higher gear with a selection of classic, DLR era Van Halen tunes.
Steamroller
“A reunion 10 years in the making, featuring veteran musicians and former members of Whitesnake Doug Aldrich, Brian Tichy and Michael Devin, performing Whitesnake classics.”
Dio Disciples
Of course no Dio related event would be complete without an appearance of the Dio Disciples, that included Terry Ilous, Dyna Shirasaki, Ira Black, Simon Wright, Scott Warren, Oni Logan, Bjorn Englen and singer Ann Boleyn, performing a selection of Dio’s Solo, Sabbath and Rainbow classics.
All-Star Jam
“An All-Star Jam comprising a variety of classic metal hits like Rainbow’s “Long Live Rock ‘N Roll” and Motӧrhead’s “Ace of Spades” as well as Dio favorites such as “Don’t Talk to Strangers” and “Stand Up and Shout” closed out the show.
